Four Feathers Wine Services is a vertically integrated, family-owned winemaking company that farms 3,500 acres of wine grapes and makes and packages custom premium wines for nearly 300 clients nationwide at our state-of-the-art facilities in Prosser, Washington.
Bulk Wine FAQs:
What is the minimum for a bulk wine purchase?
280 gallons
Do you have totes available for sale?
Yes, totes are available for purchase. A 280-gallon IBC tote (hard plastic) is $240, and a 330-gallon IBC tote is $290. A 280-gallon Spacekraft tote (bag in cardboard container) is $165, and a 330-gallon Spacekraft tote is $185.
Who is responsible for arranging freight?
Clients are welcome to arrange freight or pick up their bulk wine. We also have an experienced logistics team to help gather freight quotes and schedule shipping.
Do I need to ship wines in refrigerated trucks?
We strongly recommend shipping via refrigerated truck to ensure the wine temperature is maintained between 55-65 degrees F. `
Are the wines crossflow filtered?
All wines are crossflow filtered to 0.3 microns. We recommend that clients pre-filter using a pad or lenticular filter before sterile filtration at bottling or canning. This prolongs the life of membrane filters and ensures the packaging process runs smoothly.
Are the wines heat stable?
White and Rosé wines are heat stabilized to <1 NTU turbidity.
Are the wines cold stable?
White and Rosé wines are cold stabilized. Our cold stable wines have less than a 3 percent conductivity change at 0 degrees C over 30 minutes.
What is the timeline for purchasing wine?
The order process takes about two weeks. Please allow two days for sales order details, two to three days for freight quotes, and two to seven days for shipping, depending on your location.
How do I pay my invoice?
We accept checks and ACH wire transfers. Checks may be addressed to Zirkle Fruit Company, P.O. Box 190, Selah, WA 98942.

What is the minimum run for bottling?

What is the lead time for bottling?
It all depends on schedules. We typically allow three to four months of planning time to ensure goods arrive at least seven days before the bottling date.
Can you bottle sparkling wine?
Not at this time. Our bottling line does not have in-line sparkling capabilities.
Can you bottle wine supplied by a client?
Yes, we offer both bottling and canning co-pack services.
What are your labeler requirements?
Unwind Out/Right Position 3. The front and back labels must be on separate webs with PET/craft backing. Max label H: 150mm Min Label L: 2mm.

Does your canning line have sparkling capabilities?
Yes, our Brite tanks enable us to force-carbonate beverages before canning. Our Codi canning line has a counter-pressure filler to maintain the carbonation level.
Do you pasteurize the wine before canning?
No. Our Codi canning line is equipped with a Velcorin dosing system, which functions as a yeast inhibitor and microbial control agent. Velcorin is non-persistent and does not affect wine sensory attributes.
Which can sizes can you run on your canning line?
Our line can run 250mL slim, 355mL sleek, and 375mL standard. Please inquire for sizes on special projects.
